This notice explains what personal data ResellIndex collects, why, and what you can do about it.
Who we are
ResellIndex, the operator of this website, is the controller of your personal data. Contact: [email protected].
The newsletter
- What we collect: your email address, when you subscribe to ResellIndex Weekly.
- Why: to send you the newsletter you asked for. The lawful basis is your consent, which you confirm by clicking the link in the confirmation email.
- Who processes it: we use Buttondown to send the newsletter. Buttondown acts as our processor and receives your email address when you subscribe.
- How long we keep it: until you unsubscribe.
- Unsubscribing: every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also email us and we'll remove you.
Hosting and logs
The site is hosted on Cloudflare Pages. Like any web host, Cloudflare processes technical data such as your IP address and browser details to deliver pages and protect the site, and may keep it in its logs. We don't use this data to identify you.
Cookies and tracking
We don't use tracking, analytics or advertising cookies. The only thing the site stores on your device is your colour theme choice (light, dark or system), in your browser's local storage under the key theme. It never leaves your browser.
Links to tools may be affiliate links. If you click one, the vendor may use its own cookies under its own privacy policy. See how we make money.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email [email protected].
If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at the ICO website. We'd appreciate the chance to put things right first.
